We also have stone cropping facilities enabling us to create granite setts from larger granite pieces by splitting the blocks down to manageable sizes. Our yard typically holds around 800 tonnes of granite setts, but managing to maintain an inventory that includes all colors and sizes is challenging. The cropping machines and tumbler provide us flexibility to meet customer demands more efficiently.

Granite setts, often called “cobbles,” have an extensive history dating back to Roman times. Renowned for their durability, setts serve as robust paving materials for roads and pathways. Designers, however, often exploit the variety of colors and sizes now available to create pleasing and intricate textures for aesthetic designs.

We stock most standard sett dimensions. Custom orders can also be accommodated, usually delivered within 8-10 weeks, if not sooner.
