Bellows covers help protect valuable components (such as ball screws and machine ways) from damage by keeping away abrasives and liquids. Bellows can also serve as a flexible seal between two joints with relative movement, such as bus bellows, or as airflow ducting in applications including traction motor ventilation, engine exhaust/cooling, and respirators or ventilators.
